Finally the new Marstrom M5 A cat was given a price:
EUR 17,900 for the complete boat (export price ex factory). See Marstrom web-site.
It seems that Goran is willing to "push" his latest design, since the new A cat is even cheaper than the "old" version

$25,753.94USD +import (fumigation, Xray)+ shipping+ tax upon registration+ shipping to you. Does that include sails, rigging etc or is that just the platform? pretuned rig to your specs?

Seems like around that price is where things are going.

The A-class worlds are going to be pretty interesting to watch. With all the talent showing up, and all of the new boat designs it'll be neat to see how things all work out.

Sorry no pics about the M5.
With regard to its price, I agree that it may seem high, however it is fairly competitive (the Swedish construction technique, carbon and nomex autoclaved, is worth the extra money):
the Gelteks or the German Flyers used at the Worlds are on sale at some 27K USD after the event and Pete Melvin is asking 19K (without sail) for the A3 he'll sail at Islamorada and 21K for a new A3 (without main as well).
The only cheap boats among the best performers are the VMI XJs on sale at 19K (new boats with main).
