Brian, the NOR for Tradewinds states the dates as Jan 18-20.


And I show the Alter Cup Championship to be held April 22 - 26 .... which would conflict with the Ft. Pierce Devils Triangle.

Which would mean we'd miss Team McDonald and probably JC too as defending champion. Would he defend that with JW or , as his new *noodle*, would you be up front? Just wondering.

Just a note, we always schedule the Tradewinds for ML King Weekend in January. Last year it seems it was a week earlier than the upcoming year.

We had a number of phone calls working on a good weekend with Ft. Pierce. They have limited windows to work within and that weekend was the best. Yes we will lose a couple boats to Alter Cup, but the reality is every weekend is bad for someone.

I notice the Perf. MW's is the same weekend as the GYC F-16 and A cat. invitaional. I'll be at GYC.

Thats a conflict of weekends that problably wont be going away, however the events are far enough away and both have decent crowds so its all good. You need choices Tim!

Ft Pierce is waiting one more year, so the April regatta will be run by TBCSI at Dunedin.

Pensacola Midwinters has moved back a week to March 8-9th.

This takes care of the conflict with the Gulfport F16 event.
