Folks,
This is the last call for all interested parties to make contact in order to look over our draft National Constitution before it is ratified and goes to the F16 Governing Council for acceptance.

Any prospective members can contact me via email (phillbrander (at) bigpond.com) and I will
forward a copy to them for feedback before taking the next step in making the Formula 16 Catamaran Association of Australia an official body.

We currently have people nominated for positions, this was neccessary to ensure the jobs were covered however should anyone also like to nominate for a position we will hold elections.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Phill Brander

Tony,

I have had quite a few requests and have been going through them.
It would save time if people also provide their contact details, boat type and sail number when they make contact.

Tony, You should have it by now. I may get a chance to drop around later today. If not just email me with your comments.

Once everyone has had there say I will send out the comments to see which ones have support and then with majority agreement finalise the document and we can move forward.

Regards,
Phill

Since ISAF no longer represents Cat sailors.. Since also the F16 is an international brand..
Lets just bite the bullet and change the name to the International F16 class..

Personally I feel the smartest course for the F16 class is to not actively provoke ISAF while staying out of its grip/influence.

"The Formula 16 class" is clear enough I think , there is no need to use the identifier "international"

Afterall we don't talking about "internatioal F1 racing" when it comes down to racing cars either.

Folks,
Time is running out if you want a say in the Australian F16 constitution.

I have comments made by the people who have already reviewed the draft constitution.
I'll be sending what I have so far out early next week to see if people want them included. After that it will be too late and you will have missed your chance to influence the wording of our constitution.
Look forward to hearing from you and we will get this up and going.
