Last weekend, while sailing my 1982 16, I noticed that my front starboard pylon was pushing the deck in, so I cut a hole in the deck in front of the pylon and found: the wedge at the base of the pylon cracked, and the deck was delaminating. I would appreciate repair tips. I was thinking that I could glass around the pylon and then foam fill it, and I am not sure what product would work best to repair my deck.

There is some information about "Soft Hulls" on this forum that was posted about 30 days ago. It doesn't mention the wedge problem, but it does go into the delamination problem.

I just finished repairing the hulls on my H16. There is an excellent article in On The Wire emag that takes you through the process.
