Well, they have gone and done it, so now should we drop our US Sailing memberships and join NAMSA? PS, I already am a NAMSA member, hopefully all cat racers will join in.

Perhaps this a good opportunity to enlist some of the more experience sailors and organizers to run NAMSA, class presidents etc... Jake, John, Bob, Matt, Rick, some of the Tornado guys.

Yep, seems like there could be an opportunity for a national or NA organization to be a focal point for representation and growth. Yet although NAMSA clearly exists (there's money in the bank) I'm not aware of any activity. I would really like to hear from Rick (current President) and Jake (VP) what their views are about the role of this organization.
