the ferry had right of way.. The ferry skipper gave notice by the horn.
Skiff was in the wrong.. No big deal..

It would have to be about 10 years old, maybe a bit more even, that footage, the skiffs used to run a program on telly during the lunch break in the cricket.

Your right Matt that is old but the ferrys have taken out 2 big motor boats this year, one carrying a ballet school on a trip killing one little girl.

Correct, and the ballet school one was found to be in a place it wasn't supposed to be at night with no nav lights on. The bottom line is that ferry will have right of way over nearly all forms of pleasure craft. The skiff was defiantly supposed to give way.
