Air Hogs has a version of the product that can get airborn from hard land. Not enough power for use in the water. "Storm Launcher".

So Chris. Lets get a couple of these and freak out the RC racers at the club. You first. Whatever goes wrong I can blame YOU. Ed

I think I have been enough "me first" lately.:)

I was thinking boy would enjoy it, and yes he could perturb Faber with it. We could set out some marks . . .

Hey, you seen boy lately? Like his dad he is good at improper dismounts. He fell from the top of a tree in our yard, luckily only broke his arm and some short term memory loss.

Hopefully he forgets how to climb trees until his arm heels. Sorry to hear he fell. Ed

If its an xmas pres idea here's some advice from someone who Managed a Hobbie Shop a few years back.
I have flown a few of these. Definatly not for the beginner..!
Made out of 3mm Lazer cut foam if you crash them its most likely game over and too much glue or tape repairs add too much weight for further flights. Expensive electronics, brushless motor and lithium battery which don't go well with any bad water landings. Great fun though.
