You should be able to get a whole axle for that thing from some place like Harbor Frieght for no more than 60-70 bucks. I know that trailer you have isn't very heavy and should have a pretty light duty axle. 4 bolts later and you should be able to replace it by yourself. A man of your physical stature should have no problem doing it yourself.

Posts: 902 Norman,OK | Doug, I would love to help, i have done a few axle changes before. They are not fun but not that hard either.
If you have a tool kit with you you should be able to fix it with a new axle from the previously mentioned place. VErnon

Got 2000 lbs axle to replace the 1000 lbs that was one it. if you are ever in Baton Rougue and break down like me, PLEASE contact Herb;s Trailer and Platt off I-110 North. Bob went the extra mile fro me and stayed late to build me a new axle and work around the money I had left. Off to new job on Elmwood Friday. Lee Harbour did not have them here. Thanks anyway and miss you guys.
