Posts: 208 | Howdy everyone, Here's a link to a Trifoiler on Ebay. The person is selling it with a reserve, so it's unlikely you'll get a super bargain on it. Trifoiler on ebay David Ho TheMightyHobie18 1067 | | | Re: Trifoiler on ebay

Posts: 182 Coopersburg, PA | if i had an extra $15,000 lying around, i would snatch that right up! Ive always wanted to sail a trifoiler, how fast have people gone on these to make them the, "fastest production sailboat"?

Actually I think it was the Rave that does 30. This one is modeled after a tri-foiler that once held the world speed record...I think the Hobie tri-foiler can do closer to 40.

Posts: 757 japan | presumably hobie stopped making them because they didn't sell well enough
and that was because they were just too focused in their needs before they would plane
but as in many ways they are still the ultimate toy for the sailor with everything else i guess it will go for 80% of new price???
