I'll come up for one of those too, and Matt's not far away, I'll be the would come. Maybe we can get some of the leaner crews to come out and sail with us? That's how I became afflicted with cat scratch fever. I did however beat that monoslug thing into submission. And as long as I don't get near one again, I think I can -stay clean-. Really though, it's just trading one drug for another...

Anyhow, I've been googling gelcoat repair all day and it really doesn't look too difficult. You can do it the cheap/easy way or the really cheap / easy way.....and either seems effective.

scubaJeep? Does someone have a jeep?

Ryan - H16 I prefer to go sailing because baseball, football, tennis, and golf only require 1 ball!

Tri_X,

Yep I've been surfen the www for gelcoat repair and I think I'll be able to do the patchwork myself.

And yes I have a Jeep... it was/is my first Hobby, I also was into Scubadiving when I jumped on the www (yahoo email). I tried to combine the too but the jeep did not like the cold deep water. I would like to get back into diving but I have too many hobbies..... Sailing (Hobie 18 and a Hunter 23.5), 1992 Jeep Yj with stuff, 2 kids, a money pit (wife ha ha ha), and I have to squeeze in work... oh I'm also in the Air National Guard,....

Of all the stuff I do I find sailing the most fun, exciting, and relaxing.
