And I hear that it's about a 30' finish....it looks good from 30' away but you start to see all the flaws after that. It definitely is cool - but that chrome vinyl does not handle complex curves well (it doesn't stretch) and it will only remain shiny for about two or three years with UV exposure.

I wonder how many people are blinded by stray sunbeams and drive into other cars, trees, building, etc while that is being towed to the marina?

That boat may very well have covers on it all the time when not sailing.

Correct, I am testing chrome vinyl at this very moment. I have a good sized decal on my window. Even when applied to the window it has "orange peel" somewhat a rough surface and its installed on glass!

Looks very cool yes, but it must have been a nightmare to apply and it wont last very long. Oh and lets not talk about how much chrome vinyl is what? close to 75% more in price!?!? <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

That's nothing compared to what it probably cost to ship 10 crew plus the boat from Italy for a week in Key West.
