Are the boats going to be weighted and measured for this event?

I followed the links to the online registration page to see who was coming and the link did not work. Is it just me?

Gulfport link (works fine)
Fleet 80 page with Online Reg box (reg function NFG)

Joanna, are you guys in 100%? I'll be racing in P'cola the weekend before (probably with the person's name that shall not be spoken) and am 95% sure I can make the Gulfport weekeend. I'll probably leave the boat in P'cola on 3/9, leave Bham after work Thursday for P'cola (stay with dear old Pops) and drive to Gulfport Friday AM - EARLY. I want to sail some and get some of you hot shots to look at some sail shape changes I've been working on.

It'd be nice to have someone else there that speaks southern redneck!!! <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Why are Todd and I the only F16's registered?? <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

That link worked fine for me, and be sure to click on the "Register ON LINE" link below the one that gives you the full form for print out.

can't get into the site at all. I'm taking the boat up 2/21 and will race 3/1 in the first club race of the year, just to be prepared for the big dance.

I might be able to come up March 1 as well, but I'll have to wait until I get my March schedule first, about Feb. 15th I should know for sure.

I think you can get in virtually anytime you want, there is usually someone around.

Rigging at 2a.m. would not be good as there are neighbors! <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

What time would you like to get in?

0900 will probably be good..But I am not sure yet. We will leave Chattanooga around 1830 Thurs night and drive through. Depending on sleeping and breaks plus we figure 12 hours drive time.
Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I'm going to try and get some Friday sail time in also.
As Pete said I'm sure somebody will be down to GYC early Friday. Anybody comming down Thursday around 5:00pm or latter let me know we can find a place for you or if not
the club next door.

Are we using the Club property to rig/launch or the beach area we used for the Area D regatta? <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Hey Tim,
I'm almost 100% sure it will be based out of GYC club property.

The U.S. AHPC dealer told me that the first U.S. AHPC F16 Viper has been delivered to its owner and will be sailing in this race. I was told that it has a carbon mast. Has it been seen in Gulfport yet?

If we drive 6 or 7 hours - that's a marathon - although your roads are probably better.

Usually we go no farther than 7 hours..But we need the practice for the AC and it will be fun to be with more F16's.
