Posts: 106 West Texas | Mike, I would be glad to take measurements off one of my trailers. It would be easy to build one, but I think you could get a used trailer cheaper. I have a spare trailer in my back yard, but I live in Texas...shipping would be expensive. A guy at our club bought an old boat and trailer for $150.00...gezzz, I would have gave that much for the mast. Email me if you want me to take measurements: evtwilliams@hotmail.comDavid | | | Re: Hobie 14 plans or used trailer dealer

To put it short and good dont go on mesurments, talk to the person who is making the trailer to design it because if you stick to the measurments and use a different basing for you trailer your trailor will be off balance. In other words make the trailor in what ever way is best for you and the boat.

Posts: 273 Key Largo, FL | Mike, We had an old trailer that we made into a flatbed using a couple sheets of plywood. It will handle all widths -- Hobie 14 up to Hobie 20. Rick recently transported three Hobie Waves on it, two double-stacked and the other taken apart. And we can use the same trailer for carrying junk to the dump. Very versatile.
