Posts: 3,348 | I called Gordon earlier this evening. He will be at the club around 09:00 Friday for early arrivals. Registration is at his house from 5-7 Friday evening. There will be hors d'eouvers, but no meal per se. There might be some rum <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> , but byob is always a good thing.
I suppose we could put something on the grill at the club Friday evening if anyone is interested.
I was gonna do sun dried chitlin's but they're out of season.

Posts: 6,049 Sebring, Florida. | I just watched the weather, looks very good, weak front with 30% chance of showers on Friday, warm (82) on Saturday and 79 on Sunday, should be good wind, not too much, not too little.

Posts: 9,582 North-West Europe | ... and you don't want any of them snaking about in front of your bows when baring down on them under spinnaker either, I venture !
Nice start line though, with 22+ boats (I'm sure a few more A's will join the party !), get some practice in with regard to starting.

Posts: 6,049 Sebring, Florida. | Any idea who is doing Race Comittee? Is it the same guys who did the Area D racing? That was very good, 10 races in 2 days, outstanding. The only thing I would want to change there is to shorten each race to A-C, twice around. The third lap is really a waste of time, not many positions change by then, it just stretches out the fleet and we could get more races in if we kept it to two laps.
What do the rest of you think?

Posts: 9,582 North-West Europe | Didn't we have a post a while back by Seth who said that the owners were fully intending to participate ? Maybe they signed up by mail and not electronically ?
The Viper would make for an 12th F16 entry, nice !
