Temperature didn't go above 6 degree C there were patches of ice on my boat cover when I took it off. But hey the sun was out and it was blowing around 12mph (perfect!!). I would like to say it was an enjoyable race but I had a good start between a Cork 1720 and a Dart18, left them behind very quickly and my main rival on a F18 tried for a Port flyer but failed miserably. That was the end of the race!! I was gone, by the end of the fourth lap I had lapped 1 Dart 18 and 1720 and was probably at least 2 mins ahead of the F18. A pretty boring story I know but my new flatter main was superb today. Fully trapped out and playing the main/downhaul upwind was what wet dreams are made for and downhill the lightness of the platform is just fantastic in the 2 foot swells. The next race is scheduled for Mothers Day. I'd better start behaving myself!!

Didn't go above 6 degrees!!! Now that is just crazy.
You probably don't want to know what kind of day I had in Singapore then yesterday. Have to say one of the better days sailing I have had here in Sing...
Hey Mark, seeing as you like the cold I need a crew for this sunday at Datchet - interested? I can get you that beer then....
Cold.... you don't feel the cold when you're winning Thanks for the crewing offer but there are three Rugby Internationals on Saturday, Wales are going to win the Triple Crown On Sunday I'll only just be in the land of the living!!! and beer will definitely be off the menu.
