Does anyone have any experience with PVC tarps as a boat cover? Its polyester cloth covered with vinyl or PVC on both sides. It's normally used in industrial or trucking applications.

I have one and it's held up a lot better than even the top grade white poly. I was wondering if anyone knows of any problem other than the fact it's about 3 times as heavy as a poly tarp.

Thanks

Make sure it doesn't have a Pocket to form and hold water. That will add a lot of weight to the supports and/or trailer. I've used them in the past but support it so water runs off. Also watch chafe points it will wear through quickly.
