Shots from the Sunday races in San Diego, Mission Bay YC hosting.

Here's a shot of us (red spin on the right) closing in on a leading F18 sailing one-up:

A typical leeward mark rounding...a real fire drill indeed!

The same event up at ABYC. Here's Jeff and me flogging the 'chute to keep from killing an Etchells on a DDW approach to the gate.

That's me on the F18 in front of Richard on the I17R and all mixed up with the Santanas in the second picture from MBYC. Didn't realize Da-Woody was out there, but I'm glad he got a nice sequence of that rounding. The Santanas were kind enough to open up a nice gap by the mark for me to slip through.

I think Woody was on shore someplace...as all the shots are from roughly the same perspective and no close ups. He did a great job...I'd like to know what kind of telephoto he used.

Was quite a series with those mono's...on Day one, I swear for 5 or 6 of the 9 total leeward mark roundings we made that day, the exact same Santana would be inside overlapped on us at final approach. We gave away a few positions to accomodate him for sure!
