Could anyone please describe the right setup of the Nacra Infusion jib hook?

You have the halyard tied to the hook right but you use the end tied to the loop to pull it up. Run the halyard through the jib zipper pocket pull on the end of the halyard so it pulls on the end going through the loop. When at the top it should hook on the hook you may have to move the jib from one side to the other or try the hook turned around facing the other way. The halyard should go through the ring at the top. You pull the other end of the halyard when taking down.

Reverse the tie off points for the uphaul and the down haul.
The hook is facing the right way

The way you have it, I am guessing you can get it hooked for sailing but it will not come down. If you reverse the lines like TeamVMG suggested you will be able, at the end of the day, to pull the halyard a bit, then keep the other line taught to release the hook from the ring. It will actually push the ring out of the way to lower the jib. I also think it is better to run both lines through the ring at the top. I have seen other just run the halyard line though.

Thanks to all for the suggestions.

At first I had the setup what TEAMVMG suggested. Later I tried to find a different way, because the top of the jib occasionally left the hook earlier as the hook released from the ring, what is a really uncomfortable situation... So I thought my setup was wrong, and I tried to find a different way. Seems I found a worst one.

Thanks again to all.

Another point is that you should make a small rope strop to make the jib sit lower. if you just put the hook straight onto the jub you will find that it sits too high at the tack. The rope strop is only 50-60mm long.

Yes, I had the same feeling (however it is depend on the mast rake.)

At the tack, is anybody using adjustable jib downhaul?

I sometimes put some electrical tape around the hook to stop it coming off the loop.
