Posts: 3,528 Looking for a Job, I got credi... | Hi there... I want just to know if it's safe to put the spi kit over a 02 european boat. There is some issue related to this? Someone can give some tips on how to use the spi?
Thanx a lot Max What boat? What size Spi? Much more info needed.

Unregistered | Someone can give some tips on how to use the spi? Do several searches on this forum for advise on how to use it.... there is a lot of data here. but don't read to much.. just go sail. I have JUST put on my spin and snuffer on my boat and used it a handful of times... the best advice possible is go out with other cats that have one and crew for an experienced spin sailor... or have them teach you some tips on your boat. wear your pfd, have friends around to help you right your boat if needed... have fun! BIG LESSON I LEARNED THE HARDWAY... dont bring wife/girlfriend out when first trying spin... they dont like being yelled at <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> | | | Re: Spinnaker kit

Unregistered | it more difficult to right a boat if it has a sail full of water. you would def want to snuff it if you could to right it, as you would furler a jib in if you can...
I would go out with any catamaran with a spin to learn it doesnt have to be a h16 | | | Re: Spinnaker kit

Don't get much chance sailing a solo kite boat myself , self degradation is frowned on in these parts Righting a boat with spin still up can be exspensive too never mind harder as it flogs its self to pieces and wrapps the forestay and anything else it can get too | | | Re: Spinnaker kit

Posts: 263 SC | My wife gets the "screaming giggles" where she gets scared and starts to yell then giggles when we save it. Its alittle like sailing with the joker.

Unregistered | This sunday we had good winds and warm weather. I was out with my gf sailing. I told my gf, "1 last run out the pass and we will call it a day."
when we got out there and i was flying a hull (pretty high) she said... "Is that all you got?" haha... UP we went. I said, "ok ... woman overboard drill!!!" She started to slide down the tramp and let out a squeel. HEHE i love that!!! (no, i didnt dump the boat, or let her splash overboard).... | | |
