Hi,
Any suggestions on where to keep it? I am currently looking at Nepean (where I am moving to) Lac Deschenes and Kanata.

Cheers

Hi,

Unfortunatly I don't have any recommend sailing club in your area since I'm located about 1.5 hours east of you, but hopefully you will join the Quebec racing circuit this summer. http://catamaranquebec.org/ http://www.laberge.qc.ca/canf18/

By the way check out the Ontario regatta schedule:
http://www.nacra.ca/2008-orca-schedule.pdf

And the Quebec one will be posted at http://www.canf18.com

Lots of great regattas to go to within 3-4 hour drive.

grew up in Ottawa, sailed out of chats lake ('prior!) then nepean. Latter is the best overall facility for racing/pleasure sailing. Has a very nice drysail compound with quite few cats (some tornado's still there and active...my legacy!). Club building is second to none! Lac deschenes was primarily cats but was not nearly as developed back in the 1980's when I raced out of there. Nepean will be more money but if you are a nepean resident you will get membership priority. If you need more info, my dad is still a member and can help you out.
