G'day guys, was anything decided about spinnakers for the class? As I'm coming up to building a couple I'm thinking it would be nice to prepare the hulls for spinnakers, these don't have to be big . My reasons are
1. Teach the kids and adults how to handle spinnakers
2. Keep the boat like the adult boats
3. Have more fun on light days
4. Keep the kids interested as they get heavier
I realise each sailing area is different and were blessed with predictable quiet mornings when I organise junior sailing.
If we were to have spins we would need a class ruling on specs. Sorry if this was already covered I've waded through heaps of old posts and not found anything.
My kids cant wait to replace the two 420's with F12's
regards

Thanks Gato and Scarecrow, were my sail numbers on the list on the other thread. If so what numbers are my hulls, it looks like I have to build them asap due to total disregard by my children of the need to earn an income <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Jeff yours are the last two on the list AUS 008 and 009, although I could proabaly arrange a swap if you want 007 but then you'd have to come up with a lame Bond inspired boat name.
