Ok so a buddy of and I just pulled a hobie 18 out of some guys yard. He GAVE US THE BOAT FOR FREE!! It had been sitting in his yard and he just wanted it out. so it came with some sails and the mast and a trailer and other misc, stuff.

Now I am totaly lost on what goes where and how stuff should look being run. I've looked all over the web and couldnt find any detailed picture guides of a fully rigged hobie 18. I would love it if someone could post some pictures here on how it should looked rigged. The areas im most interest in are the 1.Base of the mast, 2.Main blocks, 3.General Shroud settings 4.Boom, 5.How the halyards are run and cleated off, including the jib, and 6.The jib furler unit. Also any and all hardware on the boat and mast, where its located and how its mounted. You get the idea. This boat is old and is a project boat and im sure its missing some stuff so i wana know what we need to get and where it needs to go.

Thanks

Better place to ask these questions are at the Hobie Cat Community Forum: http: Hobie Cat 18 Forum

This is a Formula 18 Forum which a Hobie 18 is not but a Hobie Tiger is.

Later,
Dan
