anyone know how the roller reefing geincer works on the the extreme 40? in theory they shpould just roll round themselves but my f18 one won't roll inless i have a plastic pipe between the furling drum and the top, anyone know how they do it on the ex40???

really? I had no problems furling my F18 around the forestay wire....1) you do have the non-fully battened jib - right? 2) check the bearings in the upper swivel and the lower drum....chances are the upper swivel needs some work.

hey...
do you guys furl the jib when you transition to downwind with the spin?
suddenly realized I don't know why you would even have a furler if this weren't the case
