Mine is exactly 80' with the cover cut off of the core at 40' with the splice 1 foot out from the spinlock when it's up. It works better than any I.ve everseen. I have an extra that you can try at the next regatta.

| Andy, I also have a tapered halyard which only comes out for BIG races. I cut the cover 25' cause I don't like the sewn transition to go through but one block. The rest of the time I use a full length 3/16" line. Bob <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
