Before I start looking for my alt. crew or skipper, Could a few of you please talk a little about this race and the logistics. What if I arrive after midnight? What kind of access is there to the start? Is anyone going up down or over there?

I'm going to break down the tornado onto the trailer in about 2hrs and prep. for the 6-7 hr drive. Anybody?

I've never been there and google has clouds in the way

No logistics to worry about. There are a variety of boats, and the course is set in the morning taking into account the winds and weather. It is not so long if it will be light air. Up an down the beach with clear water and a bunch of wildlife. Surf is crappy right now so launching and landing will be cake. The empahasis is on having a good time. Big fish feed at Steves after the race is always great.

We will drive up in the morning so hopefully see you there.

Matt

They close the beach at night so you won't be able to set the boat up till morning. That is why the start is not till 11:30. You should have plenty of time to set the boat up.
