Hi all, I just wandered into your forum and now I'm here to stay! I just got my first boat, a 1988 Hobie16, and I'm really excited to have found this site! I grew up sailing with my dad, but he was always the boss and I just followed orders. I'm looking forward to finally being on my own with this one, although he's sailing with me on the cat for now until I'm comfortable enough to go it alone. Plus I need help with the mast stepping, but I found some interesting threads that I think will be of some help. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and I'm glad I found some like-minded folks!
