Posts: 124 offshore | Yeah, Sohn has done better than I expected. I know Jim is a good sailor -- heck he has won the 18 NACs a couple of times at least. It's just that the 16 fleet is so bloody good! Good on Jim, I say.
On the Hobie Forum Merrick posted they only did one race in a very light breeze. But no results posted yet. (I think they are too busy partying!! After this week, can you blame them? <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />) Barring anything unusual (which can easily happen in a light air race, I would expect Fracisco Figueroa of Puerto Rico would now be your 2-time (consecutive) North American Champion. He had a 20 pt. lead over 2nd place going into today.
