Well, the folks at Canandaigua YC did it again. Even though there was no wind at all and about 100% humidity on Saturday, they came through with flying colours on Sunday. This was an open Cat event with the bulk of the boats being made up with Hobies and Sharks.
Bringing the bike, allowed Stuart and I to ride all around the lake on Saturday. Sunday, which was to have been bad weather due to a stalled front and IKE, turned into a 90 degree (33C for you Canadians) day. The wind was 10 to 15 and the sun was out. That made for some great photos as well which can be seen at

Not only that, I did stick a 'helmet hero' (
http://www.goprocamera.com/index4.htm ) on the bow of Stuart's H20 for a start and 1 leg which allowed me to record some really nice video for about 2 minutes. We had some water on the lens issues, but nothing we can't fix at some point with rainx. It was pretty cool and I will post it on my web site soon. More of you should try this while your out sailing. I wish I had it when I was part of the Worrell 1000 as we could have mounted it on the bow as they headed out through some killer surf. Maybe the Tybee 500 would be a good time to try this.
