Mark, you were correct, it does not state that it will be for a multihull, though the individual within ISAF that I have been in touch with clearly believes that that is the only reason that the IOC is open to this is to get a multihull event back into the Olympics in 2012 prior to going to a 5 disciplines approach for 2016.
