Well in all my incredible wonderful actions degrigging the boat after catfest, I got the pelican striker caught on the job trak and by the time we noticed the track was in 2 pieces. So now I am trying to go back to the same design, or change to the F18 track system. Anyone done this change yet? Does not look like it would be hard to do. Any suggestions on how to spend money would be appreciated.

How about asking Matt about buying a new track? I would think that to be a simple, economical and good solution?

Did you mean to write "dolphin striker" or is your boat really rigged with a pelican striker somewhere?

Well I was thinking of just getting the same track from matt, but always wondering if up grade would be good.
Is the bar from the forstay to the pole not a pelican striker? that is the one that was the culprit, just dumb move by me.

That would be what I call a compression strut.
