My crew (also my brother) has stinky boots, and I won't even go into other ways in which he is stinky.....

I see Murrays has a destinking product, but I wondered if anyone else had any other home remedies for stuff to soak it in. Obviously a good bake in the sun often works well, but there ain't nothin' gettin' baked up in MN this time of year! Only frozen!

To clean my dive gear, wetsuit, booties, ect. I use white vinegar and water. Dive gear gets quite funky after a few days of diving, packed up in a bag wet, and then put on a plane to fly home. I just put a couple of cups in a 5 gal bucket about 3/4 full, let it soak for 10 min or so, then dry in the sun...and no more funk!! It wont hurt the material either. Most divers use this.

Considering how cold it is up there, I would think you could just leave them outside, and the bacteria that cause the stink would freeze to death.
