Has anyone out there experienced having to derotate the Tiger mast to avoid the spreader hitting the jib when sailing upwind. I cannot rotate to the shroud as per some tuning documents. In fact, I have to rotate about half way to the rear beam. I carry quite a bit of mast rake and also wonder if that contributes to this.

Thanks,
Mike

How far out is the car on your jib track?

Well I can think of quite a few things that can cause this.

The rake of the spreader arms. and possibly the length (ours are adjustable)

How high the jib mounted on the bridal, and the overall height of the bridal. if the jib is up too high it would hit.

Have you tried reducing your mast rake to see if that will help?
