Posts: 2,490 On the Water | Today we have measured and weighed in about 20 boats. All of the newer Nacras (Performance Sails) spins measured in very close, one was over. 4 or 5 new Infusions just put together. Great weather, the northerners love it, the southerners bitching its hot. Some pictures up, more to come. http://www.thebeachcats.com/index.php?module=pictures&g2_itemId=52151Blondi out. . .

Posts: 1,253 Columbia South Carolina, USA | JC and Kemmy together again, sweet! Looks like a real tough fleet, but I got my faves.... And now onto the real topic...the infusions and Cap's are dominating. Do you think there is a boat differnece now? They sure keep evolving, theres got to be some advantage here over the older NACRAF18's and Tiger's, what do you think?

I would say maybe a ~little~ difference in performance. I think it's more of a direct correlation that most top guns have a permanent case of "shiny-itus". There's not been anything new and shiny about a Tiger in a looooong time so most of them are now sailing the new(r) Infusion and Caps.

Posts: 2,490 On the Water | Jake, I'm quickly gaining a new appreciation and respect for the efforts that you have put in the past to keep everyone informed while attending a major regatta event. It ain't easy.
