2 days ago I sailed a 50% lose copy of Hydroptere I built. Does anyone have info on others building these types of boats? I saw some pictures of a similar boat Randy Smyth (Tornado and Farrier fame) built and a boat in Great Britain, but that's it.

Besides the potential for speed I was interested in having less boat and weight to deal with than my cats. It seems to be the way to go. The major disadvantage is docking and tying up. The "wings" do not fit well with docks.

John,
Would you have a pic of the boat you sailed?
It would be interesting to see.

Regards,
Phill
