There are some big things happening in the US in 2009 in regards to the F16 class (Alter Cup boat of choice and Global Challenge). In order to publicize and organize events/notes/et al it would be great if all US/North American/Carribean F16 sailors drop me an email with:

One other thing you might want to consider is collecting the contact information on US dealers and posting it. Not much on F16 site. (I notice you mention a possible new Viper dealer in the "Northeast.")

Dealer sightings seem to be as rare as Big Foot sightings. (No, don't tell me; advertise it for everyone.)

Yep, the question about which term -- dealer/distributor -- is correct is a good one. And I don't know the answer either. But if a manufacturer wants to set up a distributor or web ordering instead of a full-blown dealer, I can understand that.

I don't know if dealers or distributors is the more accurate term. I believe Vectorworks has one (or more??) distributors/dealers (one in Illinois maybe?).

I do not know who/where the AHPC representative is in the Northeast US. All I know is that someone in the NE is getting some boats to start a dealership/distributorship. I don't know if they get their boats from Fun in the Sun or directly from AHPC.

I could certainly be way off base here, so chime in and correct where needed. Maybe those in the "know" can answer.
