Just wondering how many Queensland Mossie sailors (particularly SE QLD)there are about and what club/s do you race at (if any), as being new to the mossie id love to come and see how you rig/tune your cat, share knowledge/tips etc and even test my abilities against other mossies.

Cheers.
Michael.

There was one at Manly, but it had an untimely end. There are cats racing at Humpybong and Manly. There may also be some racing at Lake Samsonvale if it has enough water.

Michael,

There was one Mozzie racing at Hervey Bay some time ago and some-one else from Mt Isa who was renovating a Mozzie.

The Victorian Mosquito Class Association also has a tuning guide which is a very useful publication. Check out the website.

I have the tuning guide - it's still being proof-read so it may yet be a month or two before we can get some printed.

Hey there,

Have just bought Cameron's 'Blue Tongue' from Sydney, #1635, plan to have it up to Brisbane after xmas.

I sail at Cleveland Yacht Club, would be happy to sail up at Bribie every now and then and if you wanted to come down to Cleveland we could give the Nacra's and Hobies a run.

Will be setting up spinaker as well on the boat to get fast & wild.

Hope to see you on the water sometime.

Cheers, Drew

Hey there,

Thanks Ben.
Just in the process of ordering a kite at present, hope to have it by late Jan.
Have offered my mate a hand to fix his cat, hope to get him on the water as well.
I am down in Syd sometimes, will give some thought to bringing cat and dropping in to sail.

Cheers,

Drew........Furr_ball........Mosquito 1635
