Ok, it looks like Tom Shannon and I will be coming to Clearwater the weekend of March 7th to pickup the boats.

I noticed there is a race scheduled March 7th at GYC. Tom and I would like to come to that race. I know the weather might change that, but we are planning on at least picking up the boats the Thursday and Friday before that.

We are about 90% sure that's when we are coming. I've already scheduled vacation and Tom has to make sure of his schedule, but he is pretty sure about the schedule as of now.

I do believe Tom already knows some of you, but I do not. So, this would be a perfect opportunity for me to meet you and you to meet me, a new F16 owner. There is the Space Coast distance race that day, so I understand if it's only a couple of you that I meet.

Yes, he is picking up a Viper as well.

So there will be two new Vipers in the Mid-South! Actually, 3 in the Mid-South, Andy Humphries bought one as well to sail with his girlfriend. Andy is picking his up at an earlier date.

We basically purchased them at the same time.

So you all planing on coming back down for the F16 Invitational? Or Spring Fever the weekend before? Don't forget to mark the F16 Global Challenge down for Nov.!! Oh yeah and Slip to Ship...

At this time, I know I won't make it to the Invitational or Spring Fever, too much work going on right now. However, Slip to Ship is a possibility and Global Challenge is a for sure at this time.

I will not be able to make Spring Fever, but am going to try for as much as I can on the other evetns. GYC Invitational is high on the list, F16 GC is high on the list, Juana's is high on the list and probably some Pcola Beach stuff, since I have family there.

We have a good mixed fleet regatta at BSC in May and the Cat Caper will live for at least another year.

I'd still like to get the 5 of us (Oley/Joanna, Jody, MikeB, Andy, myself) together for a weekend in Bham for some training/tuning/fun/filming (?!). I'll see what I can pull together.

I will certainly try to get the days off and be there, thanks for the early heads up so I can start planing on it.

What date is the Gulfport A-F16 invitational? I hope it's not the following weekend as I will not be able to get two weekends in a row off.

April 18th - 19th - GYC Multihull Regatta

Looks like it will be open to all comers. I don't have any details yet.
