Mission Bay Yacht Club in San Diego will be hosting its Cat Fight Regattas in March and May, with Cat Fight I serving as the Area J Alter Cup Qualifier. All racing will be in the ocean, and the regattas will be scored individually and as a series.

Cat Fight I and the Area J Qualifier will be 21-22 March. Cat Fight II will be 2-3 May. There will be separate starts for the Area J Qualifier and other fleets (spinnaker boats + A's, non-spinnaker boats, etc). For the Area J Qualifier start, both skipper and crew must be US Sailing members. 10 pre-registered boats make a class.

That's the same weekend as Hobie MidWinters West - which has been on the schedule since last October.
