April 18 and 19 The Gullfport Yacht Club Multihull Regatta will be held in Gulfport FL.
The race will be held on the Gulfport Beach.


Expected guaranteed fleets are A cats and F16s. Now there is interest from the F18 and the N20 class. Both classes must muster at least five boats each to be considered a fleet.

All spin boats will have ONE start. All classes will be scored individually.

A good amount of sailors know first hand the top quality races we at Gulfport Yacht Club put on. We have a dedicated team of past/present and future racers that work behind the scenes to make all of this happen.

I am inviting you all to come on down. If you have interest in arriving early PM and I can help out with logistics. Boat storage, moving, picking up at the airport etc etc.

NOR will be coming up shortly, the race is in April please mark your calendars and come on down.

Actually they changed there plans. The clinic they are hosting will be the three days prior to the event. Then the last day they are having a speed run down to Gulfport.

Yes, all boats that are not scored as a class will be scored open portsmouth.

April 18 mis miami key largo race as well, prolly a good bunch of I&N20's going there.....

So Robi, this takes the place of the annual A Class/F-16 Invitational? Just wondering since I didn't see the Invitational on the calendar. Ed

Yes the name was changed and is now open to all types of beachcats.

Matt and I will be there. We really enjoy this regatta. Those that have never come to this event should really try to come this year. It'll be one of your favorites.

If slaughter, myself and his 2 kids are on the 5.5sl, can we race in the F16 class? That's about 525lbs. crew weight...

Stanks, Sure! We can do some surgery in the parking lot, lopp off 1' of bow, 1' off the stern, put it back together and you should be good to go.

OR, you could leave it as is and race it in the F18 class, just find a spinny.

What is the 3 day before clinic??

I have an asymmetrically cut spin for my Tiki, if you'd like to borrow it! Or, you could just race Curry in the open fleet. I'd make him use the SCHRS, rather than Dpn!

Its hosted by Fun in the Sun. The clinic is geared towards F16s and F18s. Its coached by Robbie Daniels. This clinic is up at the Dunedin Causeway. Google map that location and you can see where more or less it is.

Gulfport is south of Dunedin, maybe 12 miles south. But if you were to drive it, it will take you an hour or so to get to Gulfport from Dunedin.
