Check this out all-Maybe we can get a fleet of F16's together. I know Jody and us will be there for sure. It is a great regatta-3 days of racing and wonderful people from all over the US. Hope to see you all there. http://www.twinhulls.com/springfever2009/index.html
Any questions feel free to ask me or Mr Ernie..

The Twelfth Annual Spring Fever Regatta*
*Lake Hartwell, Georgia*
*April 10-12. 2009*

The water's slowly coming back up and the Corps of Engineers actually
approached me about holding the regatta at the Milltown campground again
this year. Apparently, they were pleased at the way we readied and took
care of the grounds last year.

We're all signed up and am starting to look for sponsors, not an easy
task with this economy the way it is but The Honey Baked Ham folks will
still be keeping you well fed. At least gasoline should be
significantly less this year and we're still offering the half-price,
over 500 mile deal in an effort to entice some of you that missed the
great regatta last year to come on back.

The website is up and we are ready to accept preregistrations. No need
to send any money now, we'll take care of that at registration as we
always have done.

Preregister at: http://www.TwinHulls.com

This will be our twelfth year of being the largest all-class catamaran
regatta in the U.S. -- That is if we again keep our competitor count up
around 70 or more. It sure would be nice to get that number back up
over 100 again. And of course, we are once again hosting The Southern
Area Formula 18 Championships.

We've engaged the same great band that we had last year along with our
now famous Hartwell Cowbeller. (I'll try to have enough rum to keep him
in time with the group.)

In doubt about coming? Just ask anyone that was here last year what
kind of regatta Nigel puts on here on Lake Hartwell.

See you Easter Weekend but please, preregister now so that we can get
the shirts and food ordered.

............Mr.Ernie

Matt and I are so tempted to come, but it is one of the few weekends we have to take our kids canoeing and camping in Ocala, FL. We have done it for several years now and we hate to break it. The kids do so many regattas a year as it is. We will really try to come sometime when our usual camping group can't make it. We know Nigel and Tammy put on an amazing event and we are bummed that it is on our annual camp out weekend with the kids. We know you'll have a great time without us.

Hi Joanna!! How are you and the boys doing these days? John and I are currently looking at doing the Fun in the Sun clinic and the Invitational at GYC. Spring Fever might happen for me if fiance's son gets accepted to Clemson. Ed

Oh contraire!! I'm pretty sure that SF is 4/10,11,12 and the GYC Invitational has been renamed and takes place the weekend after SF, 4/18 & 19. Note that Robbie is doing a three day clinic prior to the GYC regatta. You could actually do SF, the clinic and the second regatta all within like 10 days. What ya think?

OPPS! You are right-SF is before GYC so you could do SF on the way down to FL! smile
We are toying with the clinic (have any info on it?), but I don't think Jody can get off, so we probably just head down Thurs night and sail Friday.

Yeah. I hate all that crap that gets in the way of sailing.
