I've had some people ask about organizing a container for the F18 NA's in Long Beach.

Please pass this along to the F18 members.

Subject:
F18 Container from Layline/Buford, GA to Long Beach and back for the F18 NA's

Total cost:
$6,000 or $600 per boat for 10 boats

Schedule:
Container delivered to Layline on Fri Aug 28
Load container Sat/Sun - 08/29-30
Container departs - Mon 08/31
Container Arrives - Long Beach Fri 09/04
Racing Tues-Sat - 09/08-12
Reload Container -Sun 9/13
Container Departs Long Beach - Mon 09/14
Container Arrives Layline - Fri 09/18
Unload container Sat/Sun - 09/19-20

Let me know if you are interested. It will take a $200/deposit from 10 boats to make it happen.

Don't delay! If you think you're in, get it done. Last year, there was too much procrastination and no deposits were taken. As a result, the container didn't happen. Make plans and everyone saves money together.

ABYC will have space reserved for the container on-site, though boats will be kept on the beach adjacent to the club once you splash them.

This Championship is shaping up really nicely - I know times are tough, but I really hope some of the East Coast gang makes the trip.

sure, it's done all the time round here! Usually, the container comes to us from Mexico, though.. Can't see why it wouldn't work going west...
