Ask Beth too! Yeah, but you guys are still in that googoo "dating phase". A lot of us later find that enthusiasm was appeasement.

Posts: 5,558 Key Largo, FL & Put-in-Bay, OH... | It still is a couples sport it just depends on the couple. I've taken quite a thrashing from several women on the course, so to say women are less serious about the game than men... well that is just wrong. Mary if you keep talking like that and you're going to get a kicked out of the club. You should probably consider yourself on probation. The days are still fun and if you don't believe me ask Kathy! It's old news about the exodus of women from cat sailing. It's part of why so many men are now going to single-handers. You and Kathy are an exception. So kick me out of the "club," whatever that is. | | | Re: sailor chick

Posts: 3,906 Clermont, FL, USA | But why in the world would we want the sport we (men) clearly love to be an exclusive sausage fest? Almost all the men I know don't even like sausage. Good grief if it were not for the bun life wouldn't be worth living.
I want the names of these dirt bags that have driven the beauty from our sport! Names Mary!

Posts: 5,590 Naples, FL | see, I figured going ahead and marrying a non-sailor was about the same as marrying a "sailor" who turns out to be a non-sailor the minute the ring shows up.
Isn't that how it works Timbo?
My hat is off for those exceptional women who enjoy the sport and the sausages they sail with.
Of special note are those distinguished sailors who are the only reason the sausages holding the tiller actually finish the race (my apologies to those whom I have not met and did not list):
Ding's crew Mike H. crew Matt's crew Kent Coop's crew JC's old crew (Tina - not Kenny!) JC's T-500 crew my old crew (not Slaughter...well, maybe - he does have boobs)

I really like your baby momma, she's nice and a lot less scary... for me anyway.

Posts: 6,049 Sebring, Florida. | Stank, you know why a bride is smiling while she's walking down the aisle, right? Because she know's she's already given her last... spinnaker snuff! You know why the groom is smiling? Because he doesn't know it...yet. My compliments and congratulations to all of you hard working females who have -stuck it out- in what is mostly a Guy dominated sport, I wish there were more of you!

Posts: 55 Los Angeles, CA | We are lucky enough to have some cs chicks in our club. Most have crewed for me at some stage.
Unfortunately we have lost a few to motherhood. That is unfortunate. We wouldn't want them to reproduce or anything... :-P
