I need some pics/ideas on how to run my positive rotation controls on my MKIV.It has a Hall mast with the ears/tabs on the bottom to pull the mast around. Just wanted to see how others have done it.
Thanks,
Todd

On the A cat forum you spell your name correctly? You're getting snobby son!

That's whether I'm serious or not.
Eric Anderson started that.

Hi There

There are some quite good technical type photos on the New Zealand A Class site that may be helpful, I don't have the address but it will come up on Google.

Tawd. Positive rotation is for N-20 sailors, not A Catters. If it's light enough that you need positive rotation you should be up on the hull in front of the cross beam using your corn infested foot to hold the mast over. Keep it simple. That's one of the first things I got rid of. Ed

Todd,

Send me an e-mail at bobh79@bellsouth.net and I'll send you a picture of a postive rotation control that works extremely well. The picture is from Charlie Ogeltree's Flyer, I have the same system on my A3.
