So, who is going to be there?

I've posted before that I'll be picking up the Viper and I would like to do the weekend races. Tom Shannon's and I schedules couldn't match up, so he isn't going to be there this weekend. He is actually picking it up as we speak. However, there is supposed to be one other person picking up a Blade the same time and is interested in coming over. I think he is still playing it by ear.

Anyway,
I was just curious who is going to be there? I wouldn't mind talking to some folks before the races and if I can, I might do a quick ride before hand. I do believe that I'm going directly from Fun and The Sun on Friday to GYC. There, I will be doing some sailing that afternoon, I hope anyway!!!

Hope to meet some of you guys(girls are included of course) this weekend!!

BTW, what time do the Club races start?

I'll be there Saturday around 9:00. For access on Friday, have Robbie make a call for you. Shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah ill be there, most likely not with my boat. I mean the boat will be there, but I wont be sailing it.

Are you going to do the race committee or hanging out?

If the wind is blowing like pop and since I'm new to a spinnaker boat, I might need somebody help me keep it in check!!

That would depend on the temperature. If its anything like todays weather, highs of 54, I will most likely not get anywhere near the water. If it warms up then it might be a different story. LOL

Mid to high 50's, windy with shallow water off Dunedin Causeway. Lumpy rollers in the Gulf. A little chilly, but not bad.

I was in Clearwater Monday and Tuesday - drove back today.

Mike, nice to meet you yesterday. My buddy got a couple of pictures of you. Not great, but at least you'd have a momento of your first race on the Viper. Let me know and I will e-mail them to you.
