Super TBCSI St. Patrick's Day Regatta

On Saturday March 9, 2003 the first race was just fine with winds at about 10 Kt. out of the SE. The second race and remainder of the day was abandoned for lack of wind but that gave everyone an early start for the Party at the Clubhouse. Lots of Dunedin Brewery Suds, food and raffle items. Don't think there was anyone who didn't win something. The new pool table got a workout too.

Sunday was the sailing day with winds of 10 to 15 kt. out of the south all day for the 4 races. Boats were screaming in the sun with 79 F temps. A great day to be buoy racing in the Gulf. Everyone showed their support for Robbie Daniel and Eric Jacobsen in their quest for the gold in 2004. The other Olympic Tornado was the Swedish Team of Martin Strandberg and Kristian Mattsson. These guys are super nice and fast.
