Looks like Gary's F16 Stealth is migrating to the Pacific Northwest. I'm looking for someone who'd consider dragging it all or part of the way up from Marina del Rey. Anyone travelling north in the next 2 weeks? Thanks!

I take it you are buying the Stealth? Why did Gary sell it? Not practical enough for his needs?

Gary's not had as much time lately for sailing, and I think his true love is the distance adventures. There were also storage and launching issues for the Stealth, and a problem with the tramp pulling out of channels at the hulls. All added up to it going on the market. I was really watching for a boat for a friend, but I'm not sure I can pass it on just yet. I was eyeing F16s before the HT popped onto the radar screen. I'm excited, it should arrive on Mon or Tuesday. Gary found a friend willing to drive it up here for a reasonable fee(girlfriend on the route).

There must be a misunderstanding there: The Stealth F16 doesn't have channels for the tramp anywhere. The tramp goes around the front beam and is then lashed to mushroom posts all around.

Yeah, that does sound like a misunderstanding. Gary was saying there was some issue with the tramp attachment, and I thought I heard something like a bolt rope pulling out of a c channel of some sort. But I haven't seen the boat, so I could be way wrong. He had a solution to propose, and said he'd received a different proposal from John Pierce(?), the builder. So when I see what's up, I'll be right here asking for more input! Stay tuned.
