I posted on the open forum as well. I'm looking at a H16. The previous owner left it in the water and it developed blisters in the gel coat. Can this be fixed? How? How much? Thanks for any input.

I may not be an expert, but I am doing the bottom job/blister repair on my Skipper 20 mono at this time. I have found about 80 blisters from 4mm to 17mm in diameter. I have opened them all up with a dremel, sanded out an area big enough to fill with expoxy and feather and am going to finish up with an epoxy barrier coat and bottom paint. The secret I am told is to let the blister seep all the acid out, flush often with fresh water and then let dry COMPLETELY. I should have this job finished within a few weeks as I only have Sundays right now while doing a weekend college class. It seemed daunting at first but is not.
