The Narragansett Beer Company has officially signed on as the official BEER SPONSOR of the 2009 F18 Eastern Area Summer Series! This news combined with 12 fantastic regattas between May through Oct, and lots of new growth in the Eastern area F18 fleet is lining up to be a fantastic summer! Regattas will be held throughout New England, NY, and NJ and each race will now have FREE BEER for cat sailors! (A keg worth of ice cold beer!)
Full schedule is posted at: http://www.nensa.org/F18_Summer_Series.html with the chance of some slight changes coming. One potential change will be back to back 3 day events on cape-cod and buzzards bay. Teams from other parts of the country should pack up the boat and family for a week of vacation on Cape Cod with 6 days of top level racing.

Past two events have had double digit attendance numbers for the F18 class with tight racing and great parties. 19 different teams have competed in the first 3 regattas, with momentum still building. Next event is the statue of liberty race on the 4th of July. Check out www.nensa.org for regatta summeries, series standings, and pics.
