One thing I noticed is that the little supports are cracked on the seam where the two sids are formed together on the bent one.

You can see that in the pic of the bottom side.

They are solid on the other three that did not fail.

May be that the handle materials vary a bit.

I agree, they still work. I never use the "handle" to hook up. You can get your hand stuck in the ring. I grab abound the outside of the ring. They don't look right though.
