I wanted to let you all know that we're gearing up for the Tybee 500 on our blogroll at Team Seacats. I've already made a few posts and will be attending the event this year to provide updates on the race as they happen...and not only for our teams.

I hope you'll check us out. Maybe some of you Florida folk can even come out for a visit at one of the waypoints, which can be found on the official Tybee 500 site. Good luck and great sailing to all the teams in the event. It will be a blast!

Also note that Team Seacats and Mannsmann & Moore will be sponsoring a Cruzan Rum Party Saturday, May 9th, near our room(s) at the Islander Resort (exact location to be determined). Please join our Teams; Frank, Jake, Chris, David, Tim, Bjorn, Bonnie, Robyn, and Wendy (and Abby). We'll have some Coca-Cola, plenty of Cruzan Rum and some munchies! Bring your own mixer of your liking if you so wish.

OH great, same thing happened to velocitysailing.com

Something must have been released to compromise wordpress sites again... why does this ALWAYS happen right around the T500?!?!?!?

ok I fixed mine. Damn SQL injection bastards! Luckily I've devised a way to quickly resolve it when it happens and I've told Jake how to fix his.

Some of you'll remember that the same thing happened to velocitysailing.com right before the race last year. It was brutal trying to fix that over a tethered cell phone modem! Oh well - hopefully all is well now.

Good onya Tad, you da Geek o' da week!
That's a good thing, don't get your panties in a bunch.
I talked to the Binkster last night and we've come up with a Jimmy the Greek program for you and the Tybee. Odds on for lotsa stuff (all about you) odds change daily.
See ya this weekend.

Jake told me this morning that he was out of town and can't fix it right away. He'll have it squared away quickly I'm sure.

Thankfully Google has updated their webmaster tools so that clearing this "warning" isn't as painful as it was this time last year!

I wish I could be there, but am so grateful to all the reporters! I will be checking here, Seacats and Velocity daily! This thread has given me a nice charge before I go jump on the treadmill. Wishing you all great weather, and a great race, Brian

Chuck et all,

Thanks - that has been corrected. Tad, thanks for the information - it made it a quick fix (and yes, the same thing happened to us last year too).

Google's method of de-registering from their "Malware list" has apparently gotten VERY easy (it was a pain and took days last year)... I didn't have to do anything other than fix the issue.

I know Jake and everyone else does a great job updating their sites! I'll also be doing my best to update our blogTeam Adrenalin as we take our first stab at this race. We were going to do a full site but chose to stick with the blog to make it easier to update when we are totally exhausted at night.
Can't wait! We leave on Wednesday morning!

Since we're on this topic, the Pirate boat will also be running a blog/website during the Tybee this year. My wife Wendy has graciously offered to take photos and update our status throughout the race. You can catch us at Pirates of the Chesapeake

Disney needs to come out with a new movie to clean up the pirate image again.

The answer is YES, all of the above. (lotsa grog)

Look forward to meeting you, and the GUMBO!
